Storm's aftermath...
Well, I got up today and there were more limbs down. Looks like I'll have to break out the ol' chainsaw and get to work. With all the storm damage in the Southeast, cutting crews are going to be few and far between for a while. Meanwhile, I did manage to get my preparations underway for publishing some journal articles. First task is to get the submission guidelines, which I have. Then I've got to sort though them all and decide which journal will get which part of my research. I figure I've got enough material to create several articles. The Golden Acorn Awards are only a month away from starting now--I'm looking forward to that. It's a time when everyone in the community pulls together to make a great combined effort. There's sure to be some surprises coming, and who knows what else. So ends this day. Perhaps I'll make this a daily practice...
